Copper Legacy Indigenous Empowerment Society is sponsoring the Summer Indigenous Market on Saturdays 11-4pm starting July 8 to the end of August 2023.

All Vendors are Indigenous, offering the sale of goods made by themselves and/or their family members.

Copper Legacy Society seeks to provide a platform to uplift Indigenous makers and promote economic reconciliation with Indigenous people while highlighting the talent of Indigenous makers.

This is a family-friendly event that embraces inclusivity and diversity.

Indigenous Market is a drug/alcohol/substance-free environment. Vendors and guests are not permitted to smoke, vape, or use within the market.

This year we will be offering travel grants for vendors to come from Vancouver or other regions of Vancouver Island. The funds will given at the Summer Indigenous Market after the day is done. If you want to apply for a travel grant, state where you are travelling from on your vendor form.

Another addition to this years market will be hosting workshops in the K'omoks hall, which will be happening 12-3pm. If you are interesting in hosting a workshop in an Indigenous culture and art, like weaving, beadwork, plant medicine, drum making, carving, storytelling.
