Vendor Registration

Limited travel grants available. First vendors to apply and confirmed will be priority.

INDIGENOUS MARKET REGULATIONS AND PROCEDURES

 

Indigenous Market hours are 11:00 AM to 4:00 pm Saturdays July 1 to August 26

 

Vendor arrival: between 10 am (not before) and 10:30 (drop off in ally way will be stopped at 10:30)

Vendor set up: by the 11 am start time

The market will continue to operate rain or shine.  If the market is canceled due to extreme weather- (Extreme weather is defined as severe thunderstorms or high winds and heavy rain.) or an emergency, vendors will be refunded stall fees for that day.

​

Indigenous Market is a drug/alcohol and substance-free environment. Vendors and guests are not permitted to smoke or vape within the market.

Products sold are made by Indigenous Vendor (or Indigenous family member who will be present).

Prohibited to sell:

  • Mass-produced items.

  • Illegal goods, drugs and alcohol, and paraphernalia.

  • Used and/or flea market items.

  • Offensive items (everything should be family-friendly and culturally appropriate).

 

It is strongly suggested that Vendors are prepared to give change and offer multiple payment options (Square etc.) Vendors with additional payment options will be prioritized over cash-only booths.

Vendors are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner at the market. Conduct Expectations: proper attire, respectful language, attitudes, and business practices that positively reflect the reputation and values of the market.

​

Vendors must bring their own tables, tents, and weights. All tents must be securely anchored with weights. Max tent size is 10' x 10'

All equipment, displays, and signs must be kept within each vendor's allotted space.

​

Vendor spacing and placement are at the sole discretion of the Market managers. Vendors are not guaranteed the same stall each week. 

Vendors are not permitted to leave early, and booths are not to be disassembled before 4 pm. If you run out of products to sell early be sure to bring more to the next market.

​

Vendors are responsible for removing all garbage and recycling from their area and disposing of it off-site (NO onsite garbage available).

Vendors operating concessions must supply adequately sized garbage and recycling cans in a location easily accessible to customers.

48 hours' notice of cancellation must be provided. Exchange rates will be offered if available.

In the event of an emergency, vendors must call the market managers at 778-350-6789.

​

Booth Tents can be shared- max 2 vendors per booth. Power plugs in are limited, food trucks have priority. Bring your own battery pack if power is needed. (No Generators, music, or anything that emits excess noise.)

​

Leave the site with your own garbage, no damage to property or any mess left behind.

Any complaints of unprofessional/unruly behavior, disrespect to Market Staff, host nation, other vendors, or customers will not be tolerated.

 

Failure to comply with market regulations, procedures, and/or the code of conduct, will result in the following actions in any order: a verbal warning and/or immediate expulsion from the Market. No refunds will be provided. All decisions made by the market managers are final. 

​

Vendors will pay a $50 booth fee per day to register. The fee is 50% refundable at the end of the market day.

Booth Fee will NOT be reimbursed under the following circumstances:

No Show or cancellation with less than 48hrs notice

Late arrivals: Vendors who arrive late must carry in their products from the parking lot, or may not be permitted to set up that day if it is too disruptive.

For vendors applied and the travel grant was accepted, the payment will be given after the market is complete.

​

            Submitting this form will lead you to a booth reservation purchase page, your reservation will not be confirmed until payment is received.
